An opening ceremony of the Economics Department cabin was held on 18th November 2022 from 10 am onwards. The inauguration took place on the first floor at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce.

The Symposium was held on 25th November 2022 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at Conference Hall, 1st floor, KJSAC. The purpose of the program was to make students aware of the history of Economics its evolution
over time and its importance and impact in day-to-day life. There were 96 viewers, and 32 speakers, all the
teachers of the Economics department of KJSAC.

The 56th AD Shroff Memorial Elocution Competition for College Students was held on 12th November 2022 in the Conference Hall. The purpose of the program was to create awareness regarding the various topics of the current world. A total of 35 students became part of this event.

The event was to help everyone
understand the Implementation of GST in Practical
aspect and the problems arising due to the
implementation of new tax Regime under GST ;and
try to find a suitable solution as well.

The main purpose of the event was to make people understand about cryptocurrency and methods of buying cryptocurrency.

about reading a financial statement and understanding the concepts associated with it.

The main purpose of the event was to create awareness about waste management and plastic recycling among the masses.
