The Alumni Meet was held on 26th November,2022, at 11:15 am in Conference Hall, 1st floor KJSAC
The Purpose of the program is To guide for TYBA students, how to pursue their career and make them aware about the market scopes after economics.

About the program:

Alumni joined students around 11:30 am. The session was started by Dr. Flora
Pandya ma’am by welcoming all the members, providing students with brief introduction about the alumni.
After that all the alumni spoke about themselves and their education and achievements. Two of the alumni
joined session online and guided students about how they should plan their time and work for their future
goals. Alumni were served with snacks.
Then after discussion started, students raised their queries which were satisfactorily answered by the alumni.
Students got a way clearer vision on the path that should be taking further for achieving their goals. They gave
students an insightful view of the requirements in the market and what corporate world look at students of
Economics as. They guided about the various internships and courses that students should do along with their
studies to add more on their resumes. They advised to read newspapers and be aware about current world
economic and financial situations. Advised to be proactive in internships and works they take upon.
Some of the notable career advices were as follow:
→ Take up internships doesn’t matter paid or unpaid.
→ Notable internships- CCI, SEBI, NABARD, IGIDR, CMO, PMO, Niti Aayog, RBI (during or after
masters), Summer internships, Research internships (under professors), CRISIL ICRA, EURO interns.
→ LinkedIn profile should be extremely good.
→ Work over skill development.
→ Read newspapers- Employment newspaper, Think tanks
→ Take up courses to develop skills which are demanded in market like R programming, Hadoop, Cloud,
Microsoft, Python
