
Symposium on Different Schools of Thought of Economics and Quiz Competition on the same.
The Symposium was held on 25th November 2022 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at Conference Hall, 1st floor, KJSAC. The purpose of the program was to make students aware of the history of Economics its evolution
over time and its importance and impact in day-to-day life. There were 96 viewers, and 32 speakers, all the
teachers of the Economics department of KJSAC.
The program was started by hosts Punit Gogri and Akash Verma, welcoming all the attendees and participants. Then after the HoD of the Economics Department, Dr. Shubhangi Patil welcomed students and guided them through the session and the purpose of the gathering. Nextly, the first team was invited for their presentation and then the saga continued the last school of thought gave its presentation. All the teams
were led by one of their teachers in charge. Teachers were briefed about the school of thought and its implication in the economic world, and theories and different economists of that era were presented to students respectively. Lastly, conclusions were made to summarize the school of thought.
Next in the series, a quiz competition was held in the form of a rapid-fire round where all the students participated and the first come won. Lastly, students were requested to fill out the feedback form, and the program was concluded with a vote of thanks by the host.
