Poster making competition organized on 15th August, 2021

As India celebrated 75th independence Day on 15th August, 2021, Economics Association of K. J. Somaiya college of arts and commerce conducted poster making competition to showcase the talent and skills of the students.

Celebration of the red-letter day in the history of our country plays very important role as it is a reminder to young generation about the fact that it was a hard and a long non-violent struggle in which many freedom fighters and great men sacrificed their lives for our beloved motherland. So the topics given to the students for poster making were not only challenging but also thought provoking which are as mentioned below:

1. Border heroes

2. Corruption

3. Digital India

There were 19 entries of students who participated in the competition and made incredible posters, from which three students as winners were selected by the judge Mr. Harshal Vasant Patil

These students were not only chosen on the basis of their amazing Art but also on their unique ideas. As we should know that every poster shows the thought put behind it and that thought if makes you think, then that's the poster that shines out the most.

At the end, what important is, the learning students get from these competitions and that’s all that matters.
