The event was to help everyone
understand the Implementation of GST in Practical
aspect and the problems arising due to the
implementation of new tax Regime under GST ;and
try to find a suitable solution as well.

The event was commenced by the host, followed by a brief introduction of the topic GST. Then
the resource person of the event, Mr. Vinit Furia was introduced to the participants. After a very
elaborate and interesting session given by the resource person, it was then succeeded by a speech
from Dr. Shubhangi Patil, head of the Economics Association followed by a short view on the
Economics Association's plans for the year and a vote of thanks.
The resource person on this day,MR. VINIT FURIA is the alumnus of K J Somaiya college of
arts and commerce. He completed his Bachelors in Commerce in 2016. He then continued to
pursue his career by completing his Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University. He has been
a well-known VBA developer since 2019. Apart from that he was a STP sales tax practitioner for
Maharashtra for the annual period of 2016-2017. He is also a renowned ITP income tax
practitioner since 2016. He is an advisor and blogger as well for tax and technology.
Mr. Vinit Furia gave a very detailed presentation on the topic , and had a question and answers
session as well.
