The main purpose of the event was to make people understand
about reading a financial statement and understanding the concepts associated with it.

The event was commenced by the host. Rashi Thakkar member of EA introduced the topic in brief. Mrs. Deepali Toraskar, the teacher in charge, gave a brief and precise introduction of the resource person Ms.Prachi Ganu. Miss Prachi Ganu is a Chartered accountant and a certified valuation professional. She has completed her bachelor's in commerce from the University of Pune and is a recipient of the national talent search examination. She has 18 and plus years of work experience and has worked in some of the most prestigious banks and institutions like ICICI BANK, J. P MORGAN INDIA SERVICES, ACE VALUE ADVISORS PVT. LTD and is currently a faculty at Meghnad Desai academy.

Then, Ms. Prachi Ganu took over and guided everyone about various financial statements throughout the session. She explained how reading a financial statement could be helpful to us. She explained the Income statement, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statement of an organization. She further explained assets and liabilities that a company upholds which were divided into two categories Long term and Short term. She explained it more clearly with the help of a balance of a company. The event was made interactive by Prachi madam through Question and Answer. The question & answer session was then followed by the vote of thanks by Atharva Jadhav, Member of EA. A feedback form link was provided as well and E-certificates were distributed to the participants.
