As we say it,"it's better late than never", India has finally started to give significant importance to skill development and self reliance. It was 2015, when government of India launched different policies and missions to work in this direction. National skill development, Make in India, Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Entrepreneurship Development cells, etc are all babies of the same mission/program. It aims at blending in with the formal education process and also provide essential external assistance. They play roles of, operating within the educational institutions and offer various activities and resources such as workshops, seminars, mentorship programs, business plan competitions, and networking opportunities. It help individuals to develop a deep understanding of entrepreneurship, refine their business ideas, learn about market trends, and gain practical insights into launching and running a successful venture. To encourage startup growths and innovation in the local community the centre has decentralised and created state based entrepreneurship development cells like the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development.
